| Grilled Tuna with Mango Salsa | |
| 1 lb. tuna cut into 2 steaks | 1 ½ TBS cilantro, chopped fine |
| ¼ cup Steak Sense Steak Sauce | 1 TBS mild white onion, diced |
| 1 medium size, fully ripe mango | juice of 1 lime |
Peel the mango and remove the large central seed. Chop the fruit into ½ inch or so cubes, and place in a small bowl. Add the cilantro, onion, fresh lime juice and mix well. Let it marinate while broiling the tuna. Trim off the dark portion of the tuna steaks (it's very strong tasting). Place the tuna steaks on a broiler pan covered with aluminum foil. Brush Steak Sense on first side of the steaks. Place close under broiler and broil for 3 - 6 minutes depending on thickness to sear and brown (fish usually requires 10 minutes per inch of thickness for fully cooked, less for medium-rare or rare). Turn. Brush again with Steak Sense on second side of the steaks. Cook to desired doneness. Place the tuna steaks on separate serving plates. Place a scoop of the mango salsa next to the tuna, and serve immediately. | |
